My recent stay at Tui Base Camp was nothing short of delightful, embodying the essence of warm hospitality that New Zealand is known for. The welcoming staff greeted us with a refreshing drink, setting the tone for a relaxing escape, while the shared kitchen featured all the essentials for self-catering, including an impressive selection of utensils and cookware. the lively bar and restaurant offered an enticing array of homemade pies and gluten-free treats, providing ample dining options without needing to venture far. The location couldn't have been better; with a well-stocked Four Square just across the road for any supplies we needed, and the breathtaking Hump Ridge Track literally at our doorstep. The overall atmosphere, combined with the value for money, made our experience truly memorable, ensuring Tui Base Camp stands out as a gem for travelers seeking both adventure and comfort. I left with a sense of gratitude and a reminder of the warmth and friendliness that makes traveling so rewarding.
